TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Browsing Data
The IT systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of the Website acquire, during their normal course of operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
These are pieces of information that are not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but which by their very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the Website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, request times, methods used to submit requests to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the response status given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are used solely to ensure the proper functioning of the Website and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of cyber crimes against the Website; except for this eventuality, web contact data is retained for a maximum period of seven days.
Data Voluntarily Provided by the User
The voluntary, explicit, and optional sending of emails to the addresses indicated on the Website and the filling in of specific “forms” (data entry fields) result in the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address and any other personal data included in the electronic communication, as well as the sender/user’s details necessary to respond to requests or provide the requested service. Specific short-form notices will be provided for particular services.
COOKIES
Cookies are text strings (“data files”) that certain websites, while being visited, can send to the user to track their navigation on the site and collect data anonymously to improve the website’s offering and usability.
The Firm does not use IT techniques for the direct acquisition of users’ personally identifiable data. No cookies are used for transmitting personal information or tracking users.
The Firm only uses so-called technical cookies to enable browsing on the Website and allow users to utilize its features. Some technical cookies are essential for offering an optimal browsing experience or for enabling the user to authenticate on the Website, for example, to access a reserved area (so-called navigation cookies). Navigation cookies are session cookies and, therefore, are automatically deactivated once the browser is closed. The installation of these cookies does not require user consent.
Additionally, the Firm uses third-party analytical cookies, which provide useful statistics that allow optimization and improvement of Website navigation by gathering information on how visitors interact with the content (e.g., most visited pages, browsing time, etc.). For this type of cookie, user consent is not required, as the Firm has masked a significant portion of users’ IP addresses and entered into agreements that require third parties not to use the collected information for purposes other than statistical analysis or to merge it with other data in their possession.
If users still wish to disable already installed cookies, they must modify their browser settings. However, it is noted that this may cause malfunctions of the Website or some of its features. The procedure varies depending on the browser used. More information can be obtained by selecting the link of the respective browser:

OPTIONALITY OF DATA PROVISION
Except as specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide their personal data in request forms or otherwise indicate them to request the transmission of informational material or other communications. Failure to provide personal data may make it impossible to fulfill the user’s requests.
DATA PROCESSING METHODS
Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures have been adopted to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
PURPOSES OF PROCESSING – DATA DISCLOSURE AND DISTRIBUTION
Personal data provided by users requesting informational materials or services are used solely to fulfill such requests. They may be accessed by the Firm’s employees and collaborators, who are duly appointed as data processing officers, as well as by third parties providing ancillary or instrumental services to the Firm’s activities, appointed as Data Processors. No other data communications to third parties will be made, except in cases of requests from Judicial or Public Security Authorities. The collected data will not be disseminated in any case.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Data subjects have the right, under Articles 12 and following of the GDPR, to obtain, at any time, confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy, or to request its completion, updating, rectification, deletion, transformation into anonymous form, as well as to oppose its processing for legitimate reasons.
Requests should be sent without formalities to the Firm’s email address: segreteria@bbczstudiolegale.it.
